Easter egg hunt

Details       For 2008, the event will be Sunday, March 9th at  2:00 on the grounds of Hale Cook School.         In the event of rain, the date will be moved to March 16th

        Overview

This will be the 15th annual Easter Egg Hunt.. Parents and grandparents in WPHA are welcome to bring the kids and grandkids to the event and should bring along a basket for collecting candy. The candy is hidden in plastic eggs on the grounds of the school about a half hour before the event. Children are divided into three teams based on age to give all children an equal chance to find candy.

An appearance is always made by The Easter Bunny who poses for photos with the kids , chats with them and sometimes passes out candy or treats. Refreshments are served to all who attend. Normally the kids stay and play on the playground equipment after the event while the adults meet new neighbors and chat with old friends.
