Membership committee

Purpose

The membership committee is responsible to collect dues, maintain a roster of members, welcome new neighbors to our area and encourage all neighbors to get to know each other and work together. One important way by promoting block parties. Click for more info.

Your dues are spent to support activities that keep our sense of community strong and our property values high. The WPHA sponsors many special events, pays for the maintenance of common areas within our neighborhood and works with the city and other civic organizations for the welfare of us all.

Annual dues are:

 

$30.00 per household

$25.00 for senior citizens

Major Goal:

 

Welcome each family as it moves into the neighborhood through a program of street ambassadors who act as our eyes and ears to spot new neighbors. They welcome them and help them feel part of the neighborhood. We wish to thank the following people who serve as street ambassadors.

Street Ambassador - This committee is in need of a few good people who would welcome new neighbors and present a gift from the homes association. We still need a person for the following streets:   72nd St.  74th St. 75th St.
