A group of dedicated volunteers gathered one Saturday in October, 2004, as they had in many past years, to spread mulch on the trees along the Ward Parkway median and other tasks. The city provided the mulch; we provided the labor. Volunteers also picked up trash and planted new roses at one end of the garden.

Now that there’s money from the Ward Foundation for maintenance, our homes association no longer has to take care of this area as much. We have contracted for a city crew to pick up trash periodically to keep it looking its best. Thanks to all who helped in the past.
