zoning and codes committee

Purpose:  The purpose of the zoning and codes committee is to research existing statutes  and ordinances as needed to help with issues of zoning violations and code variance requests, to provide information for homeowners how to handle violations or complaints, and to represent us and our interests with city government and other organizations regarding zoning or codes.

Major Accomplishment This Year:

The work of this committee was done by a lot of individuals each addressing a part of the problem.

 

Volunteer Opportunities:

We need quite a few of you to act as eyes and ears for WPHA in noticing and reporting such things as street lights out, unkempt properties, abandoned cars, illegal dumping and reporting these problems to the Action Center to be remedied. They can be reached at 311.
